Tuesday is the first day of my work week, and oh boy is it painful this morning. My body is not meant to be awake before 7 am.
I can’t decide which worries me more: knowing my boyfriend is diving and having to wait to hear from him when he gets back to land, or going with my boyfriend and sitting on the beach watching his dive flag and waiting for him to get back.
Ran a 5k this morning with my dad for Father’s Day. Slow one for me (28 minutes ish) but he got 3rd in his age group! I need to get back to running consistently, the heat really killed me this morning. But working 9-5 with a 45 minute commute each way isn’t allowing much time for workouts.
I just ordered a new moleskine planner and I’m way too excited to start using it. I have a very strange obsession with nice notebooks/planners.

CAN WE JUST TAKE A MINUTE TO APPRECIATE THESE MOTHERFUCKING BOOKS

these fake ass diaries that were SO WELL WRITTEN that your 10-year-old self was about a million percent convinced that someone’s ratty ass diary survived the sinking of the Titanic and became a national…
UGH THAT MAYFLOWER ONE WAS THE BEST
One of the reasons why I’m now in grad school for history.
I’m so torn between wanting to be back in my apartment in SC, living on my own, working on my own schedule, and having space to myself, and being fine with living at home, even though I’m so sick of people being around all the time and having zero privacy, because at least Jordan is close by.

We rarely get dressed up, so I obviously had to get a picture!

i just need a minute for this
2 more days of my work week. Gonna be rough, I desperately need coffee.
Went running for the first time in a couple weeks today, and I wasn’t even aware it was national running day until after! Now that I’m getting settled into my internship schedule hopefully more consistent running is in my future.
My internship is amazing. Today alone, I saw a famous modern architect/designer in person, looked at some really valuable and rare artifacts related to George Washington and Paul Revere, along with other cool objects, and saw 18th century graffiti in the not-open-to-the-public attic of an early 18th century building.
History is the best. I feel so lucky to have this opportunity.

How I love, adore Mort.
Both my boyfriend and I were sick the other night, and since we were too tired to do anything/think, we watched Madagascar 3. And this little fluffy thing has made my whole week.
Got completely soaked all night, got home at 2 am, completely exhausted (thus the train picture where Jordan looks super grumpy), but we were super close to the field, the Red Sox won, and it was a great first game for me at Fenway/an awesome birthday present.
